What Causes Head Sweating While Sleeping?

I don’t know if it’s related to an illness or what but I’ve had head sweating while sleeping since February, and I feel like this is getting progressively worse. When the sweating happens it feels like my body gets cold (and sometimes hot) and then I sweat profusely all over my face, especially under my nose. It usually lasts for a few minutes before stopping. It doesn’t happen every night so at times there are nights where no sweating occurs, although it hasn’t been consistent enough to be able to say that either way. The other odd thing is that sometimes when the trembling starts in my limbs, which has happened more frequently lately as well as very intense shaking of hands/arms/legs during sleep causing me to hit myself – often causes this kind of severe sweating as well.

Any idea what could cause these symptoms? Any help would be appreciated
