Sweating disorders are extremely common, especially among women. Women sweat more than men because they have different hormones that control their body heat.
The major hormone controlling the ability of your skin to absorb excess heat is called estrogen. When there is too much estrogen in a woman’s system, she has excessive sweating and it can be very uncomfortable for her.
Estrogen levels rise during pregnancy and after childbirth so these times may also cause an increased sweating problem in females (and erectile dysfunction). Some medicines like birth control pills increase the amount of estrogen in a woman’s body which can make her sweat excessively as well.
