How much caffeine should I take?
Although no one can tell you how much caffeine is right for you because everyone is different, most people who are sensitive to caffeine tolerate 200-300 milligrams daily with no problems. The problem comes when they consume 500+ milligrams daily. 500 mg per day will kill any person that doesn’t have their liver fully functional yet, so it’s best not to go beyond 400 mg per day if at all possible without consulting your doctor first! Some people may experience withdrawal symptoms within 3 days after stopping caffeine completely – this typically occurs at 800mg/day or more…so be aware of this before trying too hard! If you find yourself having headaches every once in awhile (I do), I would recommend cutting back on your dosage by about 50% for those headaches; but don’t cut them out altogether as those headaches may disappear on their own as well (usually).
