The best way is to stay cool and hydrated. Drink plenty of water, but be sure you don’t overdo it. Dehydration can cause your body to lose too much salt, which can lead to hyponatremia (a condition in which the level of sodium in your blood becomes dangerously low). If you sweat heavily without drinking enough fluids, there are prescription drugs that help combat this type of sweating. For milder cases of excessive sweating that doesn’t interfere with athletic performance or normal daily functions, try drinking more water or other beverages that contain electrolytes like Gatorade® . The main thing is not to let dehydration set in!
