How to keep glasses from fogging up when sweating? Video of the Day
Glasses and sweat don’t mix. If you spend a lot of time outdoors or in hot, humid weather working out, your face will become warm and moist. This can cause condensation on the outside surface of your lenses because it’s always warmer than the inside temperature. The problem is exacerbated if you work out without wearing any protective eyewear — sunglasses won’t cut it! You need eye protection that adds ultraviolet radiation-blocking (UV) filters. Fortunately, there are three different types of anti-fogging solutions available today: water repellent lens coatings; special wicking inserts designed to draw moisture away from the glass; and specialty goggles with UV protection built into them. All three options have their advantages and disadvantages so choose one that works best for you based upon what you prefer to wear most often while outdoors or exercising outdoors.
