My house is an old wooden frame, all but the last few years it has been painted. The first year I had to paint twice because of bird droppings and wood rot. Now that most of the birds are gone (and there aren’t any roosters left) I am afraid this winter my floors will sweat like crazy! Is there something that might prevent this? It’s not a particularly clean place; we use scented candles, incense and try to keep up with dusting; but I don’t know how much more we can do. Also, is there anything else besides painting or varnishing which might help?
Thanks for your time and expertise!!
