I have an issue with my sweat in between areas of my body. The sweats are not really hot, but very moist and sticky. I don’t know if it’s from stress or what because i’m not overweight, just a few pounds over the average weight for my height. It seems to be getting worse lately and thinking about going on an anti depressant that helps with stress/anxiety has me scared that this could be making things worse! Any suggestions?
Answer: Sweat is produced by glands located all over our bodies including in our armpits, underarms and groin area which we call the axillae (AK-uhlle). Your axillae can produce sweat even when you’re cold so they may give you a reason other than stress to feel sweaty there. If your sweating isn’t too bad then try adding 1 teaspoon of baking soda to water 2-3 times throughout the day; start this regimen at night before bedtime after showering or bath time and continue until sweating stops completely (it should take no more than 8 days). You can add 1 teaspoon into any liquid such as water, juice, soup etc without affecting taste since baking soda is odorless; simply dissolve it in liquid & drink while still warm & cool down before drinking liquids like coffee or tea again.
